Rejoice Youth Choir

Sundays @ Noon

Rejoice is for students in 6-12th grades. Our mission is to sing loudly, live humbly, & serve boldly. All middle school and high school students are welcome to join us on Sundays, September - May, in the Ministry Center from noon - 2 pm. We start with lunch followed by rehearsal in the Choir Room (Room 165). Rejoice prepares music to perform in worship as well as out in the community.

There are many opportunities for mission work within the group, such as serving the Denton State School and Salvation Army. Rejoice holds several fundraisers throughout the year to support the annual Summer Choir Tour.

Safety Information

Background Checks

There is nothing more important to us than protecting your sweet kids and creating a safe space for spiritual growth. We require that all adults involved in Children or Youth Ministries, including staff, childcare workers, and volunteers, submit themselves for a background check as a safety precaution.

MinistrySafe

MinistrySafe is a safety training program that all volunteers (including teenagers), staff, and childcare workers are required to complete and renew every 2 years. MinistrySafe was created to help ministries meet legal standards of care and reduce the risk of sexual abuse using tools and technology tailored to fit the needs of churches, camps and ministry programs.

Volunteer

We are always looking for servants to help our youth grow. It is so important for our pre-teens and teens to know that they are radically loved by the church. Don't worry about your abilities or experience. Join our team of servants to help provide a fun, safe and spiritual environment for our students to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ. Fill out the form to tell us where you'd like to serve.
