One of our core values at Trietsch is Servant Ministry. This means putting ourselves aside to meet the needs of others. There are many opportunities to be the hands and feet of Christ throughout the community this summer. Project Transformation

June 29 - July 2
10 am - 2 pm
Chapel Hill UMC in Farmers Branch

Project Transformation engages young adults in purposeful leadership in ministry, supports under-served children and families and connects churches with communities in need.

Currently, we have two opportunities to serve this summer:

  1. Volunteer to hand out meals to families as they drive through the parking lot at Chapel Hill UMC. A maximum of 3 volunteers are needed each of these four days. Volunteers must be 18 – 64 years old. To volunteer contact Susan White at
  2. Purchase a “Summer Camp in a Bag” to be given to children in the program. The bags will contain activities the children can do at home and cost $25 each. Your $25 donation can be sent through the Trietsch app, online giving or by check to TMUMC. Please designate that your donation is for Project Transformation. Trietsch will purchase all bags at one time and they will be delivered directly to PT.

Thank you for serving with us this summer!

MAD Camp Hygiene Bags

Due June 28, 2020

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, MAD Camp 2020 will not happen this year.  MAD Camp is part of the Wesley-Rankin Community Center (WRCC) summer B3X enrichment program for 1st – 8th graders in West Dallas.  It is also the place they would normally receive food and safety on a daily basis. This year – B3X is not happening.   In response, WRCC is providing family’s food weekly, a virtual camp for the kids, contact-free tutoring, and trying to meet other needs.

This would have been our 10th year to partner with WRCC by hosting MAD Camp. We can show our love by providing camper families a HYGIENE bag to be distributed through WRCC. Families in need will focus on food and shelter and often their hygiene products get neglected.

Though we can’t love on the kids on our Campus, and share in Music, Art, Drama, Dance, Food, Special Activities, and Outdoor play --- we can offer our help by fulfilling this need.

We are going to make 150 HYGIENE Bags that will be distributed July 6, 2020.

If you are willing to help, please review the list of needed items, sign up for the item, and when prompted, enter the quantity, or if you would prefer to supply a complete Hygiene Bag – click on the “Related Files” on the Sign-up page, and then select the item “complete Hygiene Bag”.  Of course you are always welcome to drop ship from Amazon to Pam Taylor’s address (just make note in your Signup comment that it will be Amazon).  Your confirmation email will reiterate the delivery address.
