Recovery & Care Ministry | Trietsch United Methodist Church

Recovery & Care is a ministry of care, support, and counseling. We aim to help people through any kind of major or minor crisis. This includes listening, supporting, encouraging and befriending. In times of need, care and counseling is just a phone call away. We support the congregation, Trietsch members and the broader community. Our ministry is led by clergy, staff and dedicated servants with a heart for personal care.

If you have questions about Recovery & Care or have a special request, contact Rev. Doug Meyer, Assoc. Pastor of Caring Ministries, at dougm@tmumc.org.

Grief & Loss

Whether you are mourning the death of a loved one or preparing for your own passing, we want to support you and love you. Learn about funeral services and resources at Trietsch.

Addiction Recovery

If you struggle with drugs, gambling, pornography, alcohol, or any substance that has control over you, join our community of people willing to love you through it.

Support Groups

Support groups are small groups of people interested in the support of others who are facing similar challenges like grief, addiction and illness.

Stress & Anxiety

If you feel overwhelmed or stressed, you are not alone. Join us in seeking mental wellness with resources to uplift and enlighten.

Financial Planning

We want to help give you a plan and hope so you can experience financial wellbeing.

College Care

Sign up to sponsor a college student or be sponsored! Help students feel connected to their home church while they are off at college with little gifts, cards, and phone calls.

Caring Crafts

Our craft ministries serve others by making beautiful blankets, quilts, and cards and delivering them to families throughout the community.

Stephen Ministry

Need extra support? Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

Divorce Recovery

Divorce is painful, but you don't have to go through it alone. Read our stance on divorce and connect with a pastor for support.

Caregiver Support

Caregivers are so busy supporting the people they love that they forget to take rest for themselves. Check out some resources for Caregivers.

Homebound Visitation

If you or a loved one are homebound temporarily or permanently, please let us know. We support our homebound congregants with Communion, personal visits, and prayer time. And we love to visit!

Prayer & Care Requests

It's a joy for us to uplift you in prayer and support. Join our prayer list or become a part of our prayer team. If you're struggling, submit a care request to connect with a pastor about your needs.
