Upcoming Worship Services

Throughout Lent we will offer our regular Sunday worship services at 10 am on site or 9 & 11 am online, but we also celebrate our journey to Easter with special worship experiences beyond Sunday morning. Explore these worship services with us and learn why we come together to praise God on these specific days.

Whether you worship with us online or in person, we invite you to explore these meaningful worship opportunities alongside us. You can always worship with us at TMUMC.ORG/watch.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. As Jesus rode into the city on a donkey, his followers spread palm branches at his feet and called him "Hosanna" or "savior." Palm branches were considered symbols of victory and triumph at the time.

Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper shared between Jesus and his disciples. This marks the first celebration of Holy Communion in which Jesus describes the bread as his body and the wine as his blood. In the Jewish tradition, Jesus and his disciples were celebrating Passover together so the language Jesus was using was unheard of. Join us for Communion, Scripture, special music, meditation, and a message leading you into Easter weekend.

Good Friday is the Friday before Easter on which the crucifixion of Jesus is remembered. Good Friday services focus upon prayer and reflection on the death of Christ and penance and special devotion for the believer. This is a powerful and moving worship service in which we experience the emotions, questions, and confusion the disciples felt alongside Jesus during his final hours before the crucifixion.

Join us in the Sanctuary for Family Worship on April 3 at 5pm. We'll sing, pray together, and hear a kid-friendly message from our pastors celebrating Easter! This will be great fun for families with elementary age kids and younger.

Easter is a celebration that Christ conquered death! Three days after Jesus was crucified he arose from the dead to be with God. Easter is the basis of the Christian faith and the promise of hope, unending love, and the joy of being with God for eternity.

RSVP for Easter Worship

All are welcome to worship with us this Easter, and we could really use your help in making this the safest worship experience possible. If you plan on worshiping in person, please RSVP to let us know. This is not required, it's not a reservation, and we won't be checking for your RSVP at the door. It's simply a way for us to better welcome you and your family while also taking your health and safety into consideration. Thank you in advance for helping us create a safe space where all are welcomed and loved.
