Strength & Conditioning

Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 7 am & 8:45am

The focus of this class is to improve physical strength while gaining flexibility and having fun with Coach Sean. This class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7am & 8:45am and is open to all ages and ability. Bring your own yoga mat and light weights. Childcare available for the 8:45am class with a 48hr advance reservation via email at childcare@tmumc.org.

Strength & Flex

Wednesdays @ 7 am

The focus of this class is to improve joint range of motion with flexibility using light weights and body weight movements.  This class meets Wednesdays at 7am and is open to all ages and ability. Participants should bring a mat and water bottle.

Yoga Infused

Mondays @ 9am
Thursdays @ 9 am & 7pm

Yoga Infused is a strength building flow infused with scripture that practices slowing down by using a slow steady breath, holding postures, transitioning smoothly, and opening gently and mindfully with the ability to move deeper into postures.

Tai Chi Gung

Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 10:30 am

Tai Chi Gung is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise to improve balance. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Video classes are located in the Family Life Center.

senior chair yoga

Senior Chair Yoga

Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 11:30 am

This class, taught by Jennifer Powell, uses movement, meditation and breathing exercises to stretch and strengthen the body, focus the mind and improve general well being. Chair yoga is done in a seat and is easy enough for all levels particularly for those that have limited range of motion or find traditional yoga postures challenging.

Must supply own strap & ball and wear a mask

Ballet Fit Barre Fitness

Tuesdays @ 6pm

“Ballet Fit” is a hybrid workout class combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga, and strength training. This class, taught by Star Tovar (a licensed "Smart Body Barre" instructor)   focuses on high reps of small range movements that make it a great option for everyone - especially those looking for a unique and different workout. Please have socks for class and bring a water bottle.

Dance your way to fitness! Dance2Fit combines high-intensity workouts with upbeat and high energy music. Everyone welcome!

Zumba/ Turn Up

Thursdays @ 7 pm

Taught by Star Tovar, Zumba/ Turn Up combines Latin and Hip Hop with dance moves incorporating interval training alternating fast and slow rhythms as well as resistance training. You get a head-to-toe workout without even realizing it. This class is a great place to make friends, have fun and get healthy!

Pickleball

Tuesdays & Thursdays

Pickleball is often described as a mix of ping-pong, tennis and badminton played on a mini tennis court with an oversized ping-pong paddle and a ball similar to a whiffle ball.... It's fast, fun, addictive and can be played by people of all ages and athletic abilities.

Must sign up in advance for a 2 hour time slot on one of 3 courts. NO WALK-INS. Only 20 players allowed per court. For information on upcoming classes, contact Dayne Flock at daynef@tmumc.org.
