We are a family-centered church, and we don't want money or coordinating a babysitter to keep you from growing in your relationship with Christ. We offer free childcare on Sunday mornings and throughout the week when you are participating in Trietsch events. If you have any questions about childcare, please contact Childcare Coordinator Stephanie Pippett at stephaniep@tmumc.org.

Sunday Morning Nursery

No reservation required.

The Trietsch nursery is reserved for ages 8 weeks to 24 months. All ages have Childcare Staff and volunteers in each nursery. The nursery is located on the main level (2nd floor) of the main building near the Sanctuary.

For children age 2 or older, please see the Children's Sunday morning programs.

Drop-off Procedure

When you drop off your child at the nursery for the first time, we will ask you to fill out contact information, let us know of any allergies or special needs, and check your child into our system to print them a name tag. Their name tag will have a detachable ticket that you can bring back with you to pick them up.

We ask that you please provide your own diapers, snacks, and meals (if they will be in our care during a meal time). If your child has any special comfort items like a toy or blanket that you'd like to bring, feel free to leave it with us. We tag all items with your child's name tag so they will be returned to you during pickup.

Weekday Childcare

Weekday Childcare is reservation-based and available for parents who are involved in any on-site church event; Bible Studies, Small Groups, Men's and Women's groups, etc. Childcare is available for ages 8 weeks to 10 years old.

All reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance by emailing childcare@tmumc.org or by clicking the reservation button below. Cancellations are to be made as soon as possible.

Occasionally, church-wide events will not include childcare. Please contact Stephanie Pippett at stephaniep@tmumc.org to check childcare availability for special events.

Background Checks

There is nothing more important to us than protecting your sweet kids and creating a safe space for spiritual growth. We require that all adults involved in Children or Youth Ministries, including staff, childcare workers, and volunteers, submit themselves for a background check as a safety precaution.

MinistrySafe is a safety training program that all volunteers (including teenagers), staff, and childcare workers are required to complete and renew every 2 years. MinistrySafe was created to help ministries meet legal standards of care and reduce the risk of sexual abuse using tools and technology tailored to fit the needs of churches, camps and ministry programs.

We are always looking for servants to help our children grow. It is so important for our kids to know that they are radically loved by the church. Don't worry about your abilities or experience. Join our team of servants to help provide a fun, safe and spiritual environment for our kids to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ. Fill out the form to tell us where you'd like to serve.
