About the Orchestra

Musicians age 16 and older are welcome to audition for the orchestra. Don't fear the audition or get nervous; we are simply looking for a basic level of proficiency on your instrument. For students, being a member of a school music program is very helpful to grow in your skills.

We are open to all instruments. On top of a string, brass, woodwind, and percussion section, we are always looking for new, interesting elements to add to our sound.

For Amanda, Rejoice Choir is about so much more than music. On top of making a joyful noise, the choir serves others, studies Scripture, and uses music to feel more connected to God.

We are very lucky to have Arturo Ortega as our Orchestra Director. He has worked on Broadway and brings his skills and love for music to our chancel orchestra every week.

Principal Pianist & Organist

Shari shares her gift of music by playing the piano and organ for us during worship on Sunday mornings. She is also a teacher at Lewisville High School and has a deep passion for passing a love for music on to younger generations.
