2024 Choir Tour

South America Tour

The Trietch Chancel Choir is going on tour to Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, and Rio de Janeiro in January of 2024! We are traveling with Fine Arts Travel and will be on tour 9 days and 8 nights not counting travel days. The cost is $4,599 for double occupancy. Contact Rev. Registration Instructions:

Go to https://fineartstravel.groupcollect.com
The main screen will ask you to enter your email and password. IGNORE THAT this time around, since you're not registered yet. On the top right corner you'll see a button to "Register". Click "REGISTER".
The next screen will ask you to enter your email address and a password. Be careful entering the password. Type carefully because I don't see that it asks to verify it a second time, which means if you accidentally make a typo and don't notice, you might have trouble logging in next time.
Be sure to click on "Accept the terms of service & privacy policy".
When the next screen asks you for a Trip Code, enter: VFMTRSA2024
This trip code above IS CASE SENSITIVE AND ALL CAPITALIZED.
From there it should be pretty self explanatory and easy. You'll create a very basic/simple profile for yourself. The point is simply to get your name and basic contact information on the record for the trip.

About the Choir

The Trietsch Chancel Choir is made up of more than 100 people! We definitely represent strength in numbers to make a beautiful noise on Sunday mornings. Our choir is made up of Sopranos, Altos, Tenors, and Basses, with section leaders for each. You will have plenty of leadership and guidance, so no experience is necessary!

Our choir feels like family. On top of weekly rehearsals, we serve together, throw parties, and attend community events together.

Rehearse Wednesdays @ 7 pm

Meet Music Staff

Music & Art allows all people to find and experience their faith in a safe place. We are all in a different place along our journey. If you have a musical gift, you can express it for God's glory. Karen wants to help you use your gifts to give back to God; whether you are an artist, teacher, dancer, musician or singer.

For Amanda, Rejoice Choir is about so much more than music. On top of making a joyful noise, the choir serves others, studies Scripture, and uses music to feel more connected to God.

We are very lucky to have Arturo Ortega as our Orchestra Director. He has worked on Broadway and brings his skills and love for music to our chancel orchestra every week.

Shari shares her gift of music by playing the piano and organ for us during worship on Sunday mornings. She is also a teacher at Lewisville High School and has a deep passion for passing a love for music on to younger generations.
