Trietsch offers various study opportunities each Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer that appeal to a wide range of adults — from those just beginning to seek answers, to new believers, to mature Christians. Fall Studies

We offer Bible Studies and book studies throughout the week. Whether you are very familiar with the Bible or picking it up for the first time, you are welcome to join any of our studies.

Disciple II

Sundays • 5-7 pm • September 8 - May 3 • Room 110

Disciple II: Into the Word Into the World is a 32 week study that encourages practice of spiritual disciplines and teaches Bible study skills. Treasured: For Tween Girls and Moms

Sundays • 4 - 5 pm • September 8 - October 13 • Room 302

Treasured: For Tween Girls and Moms addresses the "tween" years which are a critical transition period in the life of a young girl. The study is a 6 session, faith-based study designed for moms and daughters, 5th-7th grade, or small groups of moms and daughters, to help them connect and talk about topics critical to the preteen years: identity, body, emotions, friendships, technology, and faith. The class meets at 4 pm on Sunday in room 302. The facilitator is Julie Hawkins, Director of Children and Family Ministries.

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University

Sundays • 4 - 5:30 pm • September 22 - November 17 • Room 115

Take control of your money, get out of debt and create a plan for your future. Class meets on Sundays for 9 weeks beginning on September 22nd in room 115. Please register and purchase materials ($109) through the Ramsey website at link below.  There is a separate link to register for this study. Please click below to register.

Men's Sunday Morning Study

Sundays, 8-9 am •  Room 115

Men study scripture to discover its meaning and how to apply them to our everyday lives so we can grow in our faith and walk with Jesus. Join us on the first floor of the main building in room 115. Take the elevator from the Main Entrance down to the 1st floor and turn right at the 1st hallway. No registration necessary.

Parenting Through the Phases

Sundays • 5:30 - 6:30 pm • September 8 - October 13 • Room 302

936 weeks. That's the approximate time you have from the moment your child is born until he or she graduates from high school. It goes by fast, and kids change and grow quickly. We know you want to make the most of each phase of your child's life. To find out how, join us for this small group experience for parents. Class meets in room 302. The group will study Hebrews by Lisa Harper.  Join us as we journey through the bridge between Old and New Testaments with the author to get to the heart of the matter:  Jesus is our accessible King.  Hebrews helps women make the connection between God the Father and God the Son and reminds us that Jesus is supreme, but he is also compassionate, empathetic and loving. The late Fall study will be Anxious for Nothing by Max Lucado. The author explores God's treatment plan for anxiety found in Philippians 4:4-8. As you follow this prescription - celebrating God's goodness, asking for his help and leaving your concerns with him, you will experience God's peace. Class meets in room 110. Where Moms Connect

Tuesdays  • 6:30 - 7:30 pm  • September 10 - May 12 • Room 110
Can drop in anytime. No registration necessary.

There's no doubt about it - being a mom is an adventure. In this study, you will explore different aspects of the adventure of motherhood, and also find encouragement to lift your heart and in your relationship with God.  We know you care about growing yourself spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.  You will find this study will guide you every step of the way. This class meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month except for November and December. This is an ongoing study that welcomes drop ins anytime.

Women's Study: How Happiness Happens by Max Lucado

Women's Study: Becoming Heart Sisters by Natalie Chambers Snapp

The study for Fall will be Becoming Heart Sisters by Natalie Chambers Snapp.  The study guides us through the process of finding and nurturing healthy, authentic friendships that enrich our lives, honor God, and build up the bod of Christ. Class meets in room 110. Life Journey for Women

No Registration Necessary • Wednesdays, 12-1 pm • Room 111

This one hour Bible study helps us get in the habit of reading the Bible daily with about 15-20 minutes of daily reading.  The weekly gathering provides the opportunity to share how the Scripture readings made an impact during the week as well as share what God is doing in our lives.  This Bible study can be joined at any time throughout the year.  Drop in anytime!

 

Wednesday Night Bible Study (WNBS)

1st & 3rd Wednesdays  • 7:00 pm  • Offsite

WNBS is an ongoing study that is a self-paced walk through the Bible. We are just beginning our study on the Book of John.  We will read 2 to 3 chapters a week and then discuss the scripture during our time together.  We discuss what we didn't understand and what was revealed to us in each week's reading.  Come join us for fellowship and study.  We meet at 7:00 pm on the first and third Wednesday of each month in the home of Patty and Jim Bronaugh. Can join at any time.

Women's Study: Experiencing God by Henry and Richard Blackaby

Thursdays  • 9:30 - 11:30 am  • September 5 - December 5 • Room 120

The class will study Experiencing God by Henry and Richard Blackaby.  The study guides readers to experience a relationship with God through which they come to know and do His will by learning to recognize when He is speaking.  It also helps them understand the importance of His timing. Class meets in room 120. The Ruth Bible Study

Thursdays  • 9:30 - 11:30 am  • September 5 - December 5 • Room 110

The class study is Divine Service by Betty Henderson.  The study explores Mark's unique perspective on the service of Jesus Christ.  Throughout the study, the author includes stories of God's shadow servants, people throughout Christian history who served faithfully behind the scenes. Class meets in room 110. Fridays

Men’s Friday Morning Study

No Registration Necessary • Fridays, 6-7 am • Ministry Center

Men of all ages are welcome to join this men's study group any time during the year.  We explore what it means to be a "man" in our own lives, our families, our businesses, and our community.  In the changing face of the world we live in, the time is right for all of us to be engaged in study that will provide insights and guidance on how to live out the life principles revealed in Holy Scripture. Drop in Anytime!  We meet in the Ministry Center, which is located across the amphitheater from the Main Entrance.
