Current Worship Series

At The Movies

Movies are a commentary on our culture. Our deeply rooted fears, dramas, joys and fantasies are played out on the big screen. Powerful truths live in some of our favorite movie moments. With so much of humanity embedded into movies, God must be there. After all, we were created in His image.

You are invited to join us in July for At the Movies and explore those moments and learn what God wants to teach us. This new series starts July 1, and you can only experience it LIVE at Trietsch.

Sermons will not be posted online after the live stream due to copyright. You can watch each sermon LIVE online at TMUMC.ORG/live.

Join us on the Friday night before each worship service at 6 pm in Scripture Picture (Room 311) for a screening of the movie with popcorn. No childcare is available for the Friday night screenings. On July 27 we will have a Family Fun Day to celebrate the week of VBS instead of a screening of Moana.

July 1 The Greatest Showman (screening on June 29)

July 8 Black Panther (screening on July 6)

July 15 E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (screening on July 13)

July 22 Wonder Woman (screening on July 20)

July 29 Moana (VBS Family Fun Day on July 27 at 5 pm)

Upcoming Worship Series

Off-Limits

In a world of uncertainty, questions often lead the way, and no one has all the answers. What if asking the right questions is more important than having the right answers? In June, you asked questions and voted for which questions you're most interested in exploring. In "Off-Limits: Tackling the Tough Questions," we'll unpack these questions together to try and discover how to best follow Jesus with grace and understanding. To learn more about how we decided on these topics, visit TMUMC.ORG/off-limits-results.

Join us in August as we wrestle together with the role questions play in our life, our faith and our ability to become the best versions of the people God created us to be.

August 5 For the Bible Tells Me So
How can we decide what is contextual and what is literal from the Bible?

August 12 Caught Between Heaven and Hell
Can we claim to serve a merciful, grace-filled God if he allows good people to spend eternity in hell just because they don't believe in Jesus?

August 19 Modern Church Ladies
What does the Bible say about women's role in the church and in general?

August 26 The Holy Hookup
What does sexuality or sexual orientation have to do with following Christ or leading others to Christ?

Sunday Small Groups

Sunday School

Sunday school classes and small groups connect us relationally to share life and faith together as we grow in our relationships with Jesus Christ and each other. Sunday small groups are offered at 8, 9:30 or 11 am every week.

Our small groups are for all adults regardless of age, background or where you are in your Christian journey. Groups learn together, fellowship together and serve together. Most small groups are composed of 15-20 participants although there are a few Sunday morning small groups that are much larger.

Stop by the info desk on Sunday mornings outside of the Sanctuary. We'd be happy to help you connect with a small group that fits your needs.

Serve on Sundays

The Hospitality ministry of Trietsch is often the first impression a guest has to our wonderful church. We want to create a warm and welcoming environment for every person that walks through our doors.  It takes many volunteers on Sunday mornings to make this happen.

Please consider serving on Sunday mornings. Fill out the contact form if you are interested or contact Laura Sennott, Hospitality Coordinator at 972-539-8547 ext. 204.
