Whose Life Will You Change?
January 29 we began a church wide six-week study and sermon series based on Max Lucado’s book, Outlive Your Life. We believe this book could have the same impact on the Christian community that 40 days of Purpose, by Rick Warren, did 10 years ago.
You Were Made to Make A Difference –
These are difficult times. Billions of people are poor, millions go hungry or thirsty every day, disease claims thousands of lives daily, natural disasters are gouging entire nations, and economic uncertainty still reigns across the globe.
But we have an opportunity to make a big difference. What if we did? What if we rocked the world with hope? Infiltrated all corners with God’s love and life? We are created by a great God to do great works. He invites us to outlive our lives, not just in heaven, but here on earth. It’s not enough to do well. We want to do good. We want our lives to matter. So, let's live our lives in such a way that the world will be glad we did.
Sunday school classes and small groups will participate in the study. If you are not in a class or group, starting January 8, you will have the opportunity to sign up to be in a small group. You can sign up based on leaders that you know or by the area in which you live or just randomly. There is a group to fit everyone!
More than 700 people have already signed up for the study. There are Study Groups available on most days during the week and Sunday School Classes as well. There are still spots left. To sign up, contact Denise Robinson at deniser@tmumc.org.
If you would like to do Independent Study, stop by the table outside the Connection Center on Sunday to purchase the materials for $5.
We want EVERYONE TO BE IN A STUDY GROUP FOR THESE SIX WEEKS. Please don’t miss this opportunity. The cost of materials is only $5.
