With passionate zeal, we will effectively communicate a relevant, informed, biblical message to every unique generation.
We will speak the language of the people; we will give ourselves to reading the culture, listening to its needs and relating to its struggles; we will be innovative and will leverage technology for effective communication. Whatever it takes ... we will reach each generation. With this passion, biblically based and culturally relevant worship at Trietsch is planned to make a real difference in the lives of those who attend.
Worship Times
To meet your needs, we currently have three worship services and styles each Sunday morning. Starting January 29, we will add a NEW CONTEMPORARY SERVICE at 11 a.m. in the Family Life Center.
8:00 am A traditional worship service with liturgy for early risers, followed by Holy Communion each week.
9:30 am A Contemporary Worship experience featuring “praise and worship” music that enthuses and inspires, by one of the most talented Christian bands in the area, Reign.
11:00 am A blend of traditional and contemporary elements. It is graced by the moving music of our Chancel Choir and Church Orchestra. As with our Contemporary service, it often includes other spiritual elements from the arts and today’s religious culture.
11:00 am Beginning January 29, Trietsch will offer a contemporary worship service at 11 a.m. in the Family Life Center!
Reign will provide the music, and Rev. Doug Meyer will be the service’s lead pastor, sharing time with Rev. Diane Presley.
The Family Life Center’s gymnasium was designed with contemporary worship services in mind, including state-of-the-art technology and the ability to control all environmental aspects, such as lighting.
We are looking for 100 members of the Trietsch family to commit to attending the 11 a.m. contemporary service for at least six months to ensure it gets the best start possible. Contact Doug Meyer at dougm@tmumc.org to get in on the ground floor of this exciting new opportunity!
Holy Communion is the first Sunday of each month in all worship services.
---------------------------------------------------------
It is our prayer that you “Experience the Presence of God,” no matter which service you attend.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday at the close of the 8:00 am service, and on the first Sunday of each month in all services.
Infant Baptisms are frequently conducted in all services, but most families choose to schedule infant baptisms at 12:15 pm, following all the worship services to allow for a more relaxed, family-friendly setting for younger children.
For your convenience, close-by parking at Marcus High School and shuttle are provided each week! We encourage members to use the shuttle services to allow for more close-in parking for our guests.
Childcare is provided for the 9:30 am and 11:00 am services by well-trained, loving attendants, so that parents may get the most out of their worship experience for the morning. Parents may be paged during the service to ensure a quality environment in our nursery. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please turn all cell phones and pagers to silent during services.
