Fall on the Mound
September 27, 2008
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Staff Leader: Dean Libby
Volunteer Leader: Carol Campbell
Craft Booth Leader: Linda Doherty
This annual craft and bake sale generates funds for Trietsch’s Women's Ministries, and enables volunteers to grow through service and fellowship. Fall on the Mound has been in existence for 16 years and provides a fun and profitable event for the Trietsch Women's Ministries.
The leaves won't have changed colors by September 27, but you'll know it's fall because it's time for the Fall on the Mound Arts and Crafts Show hosted by the Trietsch Women's Ministries. Every fall, the popular craft show provides Denton County families with a great kick-off to a new season as they leave the heat of summer behind. Fall on the Mound is the primary fundraiser for Trietsch's Women's Ministries, which donates to the Methodist Children's Homes, provides scholarships for students, helps pay for church childcare services, as well as donating to other missions voted on by the council.
More than 100 artists, jewelers and craft vendors will display their handmade works for sale. A fall festival wouldn't be complete without goodies to eat, so Fall on the Mound will host both a bake sale and plenty of food and drink concessions. Admission to the arts and crafts show is free. So grab your friends and come check out all the great vendors and do some early Christmas shopping.
This year's Fall on the Mound is the 16th Trietsch Women's Ministries Arts and Crafts Show and will be held September 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
There will be booth rentals for Arts & Crafts vendors. If you would like more information contact Linda Doherty at dohertyli@hotmail.com.
