Our purpose is to provide handmade cards for the church to send to our members and extended church family.
The mission of the Christian Cut-Ups ministry is to provide handmade cards to the church office and to any other ministries within the church for various purposes: thank you, sympathy, birthday, get well, congratulations, welcome, etc.
People with scrapbooking or rubber stamping experience will be comfortable jumping right in. People new to paper crafts should absolutely come for the fellowship. We'll start you off with simple tasks and introduce you to all kinds of techniques for card making, such as cutting, tearing, crimping, embossing, stamping, and chalking.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in Faith Voyage, Room 204 ("His Story"). Childcare is available with a reservation to 972-539-8547, ext. 299.
Come join us; no experience necessary! We provide everything you need including written instructions, a sample card, all the supplies, and hands-on instruction, if needed. No skills required - just a pair of willing hands.
