The Re-Ignite youth will once again do mission work during Spring Break. The Senior High trip is March 13-19.
RE-IGNITE SPRING BREAK MISSION TRIPS 2010
Re-Ignite Senior High and Junior High youth and adults will become the hands and feet of Christ in different locations over Spring Break. Our Junior High will be in South Dallas working with C2K doing work for those who are unable to help themselves. Their trip is March 14-17. Our Senior High will be in San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona the week of March 13-19. Amor Ministries is working with the Arizona Reservation Mission to select the recipients of houses.The people living on the reservation have many families living in one home that is falling down around them. We are bringing hope to the Apache people. We will still be living in tents, providing all of the building supplies and labor and cooking our own food.
HOW CAN YOU HELP OUR “MISSIONARIES” AND THE FAMILIES THEY SERVE?
- Provide financial support to help purchase the building supplies as well as send the workers to do the manual labor. The month of February is Re-Ignite Mission Fundraising Month. We need to raise $75,000.00 during this one month. You may sponsor an individual youth who is going on either trip or be a general sponsor.
- Be a Prayer Partner. Prayer partners are asked to pray for the group prior to the time of departure and during the trip so that we are covered in prayer at all times. Each prayer partner chooses a participant to cover in prayer and also are asked to write a letter of encouragement to be received during the trip.
All information about sponsorship is available at the Re-Ignite Mission Trip table in the Connection Center during February and at the Youth Ministry Information area outside of the Ministry Center.
