Small Groups (LIFT)
Staff Leader: Doug Meyer
Small groups offer the Holy Spirit a context to transform us into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. They are the context in which we live out our Christian faith.
LIFT Groups (Living In Faith Together) are where friendships are forged; loneliness is comforted; joys and sorrows are shared; and community and genuine fellowship develop in love.
LIFT Groups are the core of the small group ministry at Trietsch. We have current groups meeting now, and we start new groups regularly.
Small groups are where community is experienced. Community is what we were created for. It builds friendships, heals the pain of rejection and aloneness, and instills meaning and value.
Essentially small groups provide the context for the Holy Spirit to transform spiritual seekers into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ
In an atmosphere of love and security, people feel safe enough to be themselves. As they become authentic truth-tellers, they find the forgiveness and love of God revealed in the multifaceted love of the group. Circles of trust form, and life transformation happens.
In a typical small group, you will find fellowship, Bible study, prayer and mission projects. Many also eat together. LIFT groups meet in homes or in the church, at a convenient time, depending on the group’s needs.
