Small groups offer the Holy Spirit a context to transform us into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. They are the context in which we live out our Christian faith.
Small groups are where friendships are forged; loneliness is comforted; joys and sorrows are shared; and community and genuine fellowship develop in love.
During Lent (began Feb. 21st) this year, LIFT groups are offering a Lenten Study provided by The Upper Room. The study is free and available at the Upper Room website at www.upperroom.org
The Lenten Study uses portions of the next two editions of The Upper Room, Jan/Feb and Mar/Apr.
Copies of the booklets will be available at the LIFT Group table to use in promoting the study. Anyone interested in joining a group for the Lenten series can sign up at the LIFT Group table.
