LISD Prayer Walk
The Fifth Annual LISD Prayer Walk will take place on Sunday, August 22 at noon! The Sunday before the LISD school year begins, members of Trietsch and the community will walk around ALL of the schools in the district to pray for the students, teachers and administrators and the parents.
We encourage everyone to wear their school "Spirit Wear" for the Prayer Walk. What a great way to meet others that live in your neighborhood and go to your kids school.
Prayer Walking is defined as “praying on-site with insight.” Prayer walking around our community’s schools helps us to draw near to those for whom we pray. It focuses our prayer. Prayer walking helps us to reach out to our community in mission and prayer.
Meet in the Ministry Center at noon for lunch and then off to your designated campus. If you would like to participate, stop by the table in the Connection Center on Sundays, August 1-15, or contact Sandi Stevenson at gsstevenson@verizon.net.
