At Christmas, Trietsch sends new shoes to Mexico Orphans. While we are
thinking about buying iPods, Wiis,
and a myriad of other toys and
items, it’s hard for us to imagine
a child that doesn’t have a pair
of shoes. Think what a pair of new
shoes could mean to an orphan in
Mexico.
Each Christmas the Missions Committee asks for donations to purchase
new shoes at $15 a pair for the
orphans at Hogar de Amor in Colima,
Mexico. This is a great way for your family, Sunday School
Class or small group to take this
on as a mission project.
During the holidays, there will be a table in the Connection Center with details on how to donate. You may also donate online and put Shoes for Hogar de Amor in the OTHER field.
