Big Heart Ministries ministers to the homeless in downtown Dallas. At Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas, Trietsch volunteers bring donated items and Feed the Homeless. Check back closer to each of those events for date, time and complete details. Big Heart needs volunteers at other times during the year and they can be contacted directly.
BIGHEART Ministries (BHM) has been ministering on the streets of Dallas since 1980. BHM, directed by DON HART, had its start as a straightforward street ministry, first at Bachman Lake, then in the Asian District near Peak and Live Oak, both in Dallas, Texas. From there the Lord led BHM into the very heart of the West Dallas projects and, in so doing, expanded the ministry outreach to include food and clothing along with the Word. Twenty-six years later, BHM continues to reach out to the homeless in the Dallas area and around the state.
