Have you been laid off or are you unhappy in your job? Do you want to develop in your career?
Whatever the need, Trietsch is here to help. Launched in 2001, CareerBridge is one of the Dallas area’s first church-based ministries to help people in job transition.
Church membership is not required and
all services are provided free of charge.
Career Bridge meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from
6 - 8 p.m. in Room 165 (Choir Room).
The following assistance is available to all members of the community:
- Provide first-line assistance after job loss
- Provide professional job search assistance
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for networking
- Link job seekers with prospective employers
- Share job search resources
- Complement other job search networks
- Provide access to online job postings via a private Yahoo Group located at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CareerBridge/ or email careerbridge@yahoogroups.com
- Provide access to networking, career coaching and job fair opportunities in the MetroPlex
- Provide the opportunity to receive resume review and a one-on-one coaching session with a Human Resources professional
- Based on need, meet for quarterly networking coffees at a local venue

- The 30-second job search commercial
- Time management and accountability
- Successful interviews
- Switching industries and career focus
- How to stay motivated
- Using the internet effectively in job search
- Developing a resume that works
- Defining your job target
- How to get to the decision-maker
One person who was helped by Career Bridge said “Being laid off caused me to reevaluate the importance of my

is necessary to be successful. I began attending Trietsch after
I had been attending Career Bridge for several weeks, and at
Trietsch I found what I needed. I found a church full of friendly
people who try to live the way Christ would have us live.”
