Welcome to Trietsch
We'd like to welcome you to Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church. We really do appreciate your interest in Trietsch. We pray that this is a place you can call home and begin worshipping and ministering with us on a regular basis. And, just in case you were wondering, Trietsch is pronounced like "teach" with an R.

Your First Visit
What You Can Expect...
Before You Visit
Have you been thinking about trying Trietsch, but not feeling ready? We get that it can be scary to go to a new place for the first time. If you'd like to get a feel for what our worship services are like before you come, you can watch live online every Sunday at 9:30 am during our contemporary service or at 11 am during the traditional service. On top of live worship, you can see past worship services, sign in and ask questions, read the Bible, and more.
When you decide to visit...
We want you to feel welcomed the second you drive onto our parking lot. We have front row parking set aside for first-time guests, and we want you to use it. Don't be shy. We have parking lot attendants who direct traffic. Just let them know you're new here and they will direct you to the front row near the Main Entrance.
For Your Kids
Walk into the Main Entrance and stop by the Faith Voyage desk. We will introduce you to Julie Hawkins, our Director of Children & Family Ministries, and help you get checked in and walk your kids to the right classroom based on their ages. Our teachers will be so excited to meet you and your kids! Our Sunday School model is called The Anchor, and it's a combination of children's worship and small groups. Your kids will love the singing and dancing as they learn a new Bible story each week. Scroll further down this page to learn more about what each child will experience by age group.
After walking in the Main Entrance, continue walking down the long hallway straight ahead. It will open up to the Connection Center. In the Connection Center, you can grab free donuts and coffee, take a seat on a couch or at a table, or just roam around and visit. We love building relationships and visiting with people before and after worship. The doors to the Sanctuary are always open, so if you'd rather go inside and find a seat, you're welcome to bring your coffee and donuts with you and just relax.
Our 8 am worship service is traditional and offers Communion every week, and our 11 am worship is also traditional without Communion. The 9:30 am worship service is contemporary. During worship, we don't do altar calls or single out new visitors. You can expect worship music that sets the tone and brings you close to God, times of prayer, a message from one of our pastors, inspirational stories from our members, and an offering.
- TMUMC App - During worship we have Sermon Notes available to you through the TMUMC App, available on iPhone and Android. In the app there are extra scriptures and resources that are unavailable in the printed bulletin. On top of Sermon Notes, you can share prayer requests, read stories, explore upcoming events, make an offering, and more. Dowload the TMUMC App to be digitally connected on Sunday mornings.
- Offering - Please know that there is no pressure or expectation for you to give. First and foremost, we want you to feel the love of Jesus and take the time to get to know us as a church family. If you would like to make an offering, we do pass the offering plate around every Sunday towards the end of the worship service, but we also understand that it is becoming a cashless world. We've also provided multiple ways to give digitally. Learn all of the ways to give at TMUMC.ORG/give.
We hope that your experience leaves you feeling fully loved and inspired to share that love. It's important to us that we can thank you for coming to Trietsch. Please stop by the "New Here" desk after worship. We have a gift for you, and would love to answer any questions you might have about us. Even if you decide that Trietsch is not the home for you, we hope you'll still accept our gift and we pray that you find a church home that leads you and your family into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
What worship services do you offer?
