Open House Lay Leader: Jackie Watkins

Get a look inside the new Family Life Center!
We will surround the building between the 9:30 and 11 a.m. worship services to pray for the FLC.
Come early if you worship at 11 a.m. to be part of the

all-church prayer chain.

We will soon open the doors of the Family Life Center with a joyful noise that reaches decisively into our community, and sends the Spirit of our church soaring! The building is almost done as final details are concluded. We hope to have our certificate of occupancy in mid-May.
Our church is fully engaged in making an outstanding series of events throughout the summer and fall, as well as developing a calendar of spiritual, athletic, and educational events that will surely enrich the lives of our members and our community for years and years to come.
To kick it off, we have tentatively planned an Open House of the new Family Life Center on Sunday, May 22, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Alternate date 6/5). Come get a look inside and then we will surround the building between the 9:30 and 11 a.m. worship services to pray for future ministries at the FLC. If you worship at 11 a.m., come early to be part of the all-church prayer chain.

We will reach out to our friends, neighbors, dignataries and whole community and invite them to attend our Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting in August. This will be a festive event with activities leading up to it and throughout the Fall that are sure to please visitors of all ages.
“The 32,000 sq. ft. Family Life Center”, lead pastor John Allen said, “is really meant to reach out to the needs of this community.” Family movie nights, after- school activities and sports leagues are some of the other endeavors that are being planned. “The building will be a blessing for all ages and also was also constructed with youth in mind because there are a lot of young people in the area,” Dr. Allen said.
For dramatic productions and other presentations, a stage dominates one end of the gym/fellowship area, with lighting, sound system and green room.
When the doors of the new Family Life Center officially open, it will mark the end of a major project for Trietsch. It’s also hoped to be the start of something more.

If you would like to donate to the Family Life Center, you can participate anytime, just click on the link to donate online or drop of your donation in the church office or in the offering plate any Sunday, mark Family Life Center in the memo line.

FLC Gifts Opportunity - April 2011

We invite you to prayerfully consider helping to furnish and equip the Family Life Center. The cost to furnish the FLC was included in the original plan approved by the congregation. However, with your sponsorship of a room or item, we can reduce the initial FLC cost, thus allowing us to incur less debt. Consider it a housewarming gift for the Trietsch family.

Click on the link to download a Gifts Brochure with more infromation on this opportunity of individual furnishings and by room. God may lead you to purchase one or more items in memory or honor of a loved one or groups may be led to furnish an entire room.
