Membership
Our expectation is that church members actively participate and support the church with their prayers, their presence, their gifts and their service.
All are welcome to present themselves for church membership, without bias.
Because membership has many obligations and opportunities, all members shall be made aware of the biblical importance of becoming a church “member”.
Members come from different church backgrounds as well as faith backgrounds. Each will be strongly encouraged to take advantage of opportunities to grow in the faith and in ministry.
Trietsch will consider worship attendance and participation over “the membership roll” as a primary measurement of the vitality of the church.
How to join
DETERMINE if Trietsch is the church that meets your needs for spiritual enrichment, fellowship and opportunities for Christian service by attending our "First Steps Membership Class" or talking with one of our church staff members.
DECIDE if it is your desire to support Trietsch with your prayers, presence, gifts and service.
RESPOND to the invitation to church membership by coming forward to the front of the sanctuary at the close of any of our Sunday morning worship services, or contact the church membership secretary (972-539-8547) to arrange a more private setting for joining.
Persons can join Trietsch in any one of the following ways:
- Professing their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior
- Transferring membership from any other Christian church
- Confirming of their previous baptism
