Church History

When Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church was established in March 1983 on land donated by chicken farmers Irwin & Velma Trietsch, nobody could have foreseen the enormous impact it would have on the surrounding community.  What was once a little church in a small country town, Trietsch has quickly grown into a modern and thriving community of believers, committed to biblical principles, relevant ministry, and spiritual growth.

By continually enlarging our vision and challenging our limits, Trietsch has grown into a church who demonstrates the love of Christ to our community under the leadership of founder Rev. Bill Jacobs, Rev. Jim Ozier for 17 years and now Rev. John Allen.  It is the caring and committed people of our church who continue to carry us to greater opportunities.  This spirit of tenacious commitment and passion for outreach and mission is helping to build strong families and committed Christ followers.

Almost twenty-five years strong and continuing to grow, what started with a handful of people meeting in a school cafeteria has mushroomed into a 15 acre campus with state of the art facilities.  More than that, Trietsch is your home for enjoyable fellowship, relationships of depth and meaning, and life-changing experiences.  With three services on Sunday morning, numerous adult Bible studies throughout the week, energetic small groups, and programs for children and youth, there is a place for everyone to feel connected.

We invite you to be transformed with us as we work together to make followers of Jesus and leaders for Him.
