One of our core values at Trietsch is Servant Ministry. This means putting ourselves aside to meet the needs of others. There are many opportunities to be the hands and feet of Christ throughout the community this summer. For more information about mission projects or more service opportunities, email Clay Horton at firstname.lastname@example.org.
KIDS EAT FREE
May 28 - August 9, Mon - Fri
This summer we will continue our relationship with our two sites for the Kids Eat Free program sponsored by Christian Community Action (CCA). This summer the Kids Eat Free program has some changes from the last couple of summers. Box lunches will be provided by CCA (Christian Community Action). Each day the volunteers will need to go by the CCA Pantry Loading Dock to pick up lunches for that day sometime between 9-11am.
June 10-13, 9:15 am - Noon
Many people may have heard about Project Transformation but not too many people know what it's all about, specifically the summer program. Trietsch is involved in a one-to-one reading program with children at Chapel Hill UMC. Our four-day week is June 10-13, 2019. We are looking for caring volunteers to read with the children that are participating in the summer day camp. It is from 9:15 am- 12:00 pm for any or all of the 4 days mentioned above.
MAD for Jesus Camp
June 24 - 27, 2019
The annual MAD for Jesus Camp focuses on giving 150-200 children, grades 1-8, of the Wesley-Rankin Community Center in West Dallas, access to Music, Art, Drama and Dance.
This camp is held at Trietsch every summer and adult volunteers are needed to share God’s love with these precious children, primarily shepherding them from activity to activity around our campus. Camp is 10 am to 2:30 pm all 4 days (arrive 30 minutes prior). We need you as many days as you can serve, so sign up for as many days as you are able. Childcare will be available. No fine arts talent required, just a love for Jesus!
