Trietsch offers various study opportunities each Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer that appeal to a wide range of adults — from those just beginning to seek answers, to new believers, to mature Christians. We offer Bible Studies and book studies throughout the week. Whether you are very familiar with the Bible or picking it up for the first time, you are welcome to join any of our studies.

Men's Sunday Morning Study

Sundays, 8-9 am •  Room 115

Men study scripture to discover its meaning and how to apply them to our everyday lives so we can grow in our faith and walk with Jesus. Join us on the first floor of the main building in room 115. Take the elevator from the Main Entrance down to the 1st floor and turn right at the 1st hallway. No registration necessary.

 

FINANCIAL FOUNDATIONS

Sundays, 5 - 6:15 pm  • January 13 - March 9 • Room 115

4 week class on techniques to improve your financial situation along with weekly scriptures. Free. Facilitator is Larry McCrief, a CPA with over 30 years of finance experience. Meets in room 170. Sundays starting Jan 19, 5-6:15 pm. Childcare available with 48 hours notice to childcare@tmumc.org. Register below for attendance numbers.

Women's Study: The Battle Plan for Prayer - by stephen and Alex Kendrick

The Battle Plan for Prayer  equips believers to develop their own prayer strategy and be specific & strategic in prayer. The study will help you develop spiritual discipline of prayer, discover the power of prayer and much more. Class meets in room 110. Take elevator to 1st floor, 1st hallway to right.

Where Moms Connect

2nd & 4th Tuesdays  • 6:30 - 7:30 pm  • September 10 - May 12 • Room 110
Can drop in anytime. No registration necessary.

There's no doubt about it - being a mom is an adventure. In this study, you will explore different aspects of the adventure of motherhood, and also find encouragement to lift your heart and in your relationship with God.  We know you care about growing yourself spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.  You will find this study will guide you every step of the way. This class meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month except for November and December. This is an ongoing study that welcomes drop ins anytime.

Women's Study: PRAYING GOD'S WAY by RICHARD SHEPHERD

Wednesdays  • 9:30 - 11:30 am  • October 30 - February 10  • Room 110

The study for Late Fall will be Praying God's Way by Richard Shepherd. Ever have trouble talking with God? This study addresses issues that are hindrances to communication to God. It is when we talk to the Lord through prayer that we experience the closeness and personal touches of a compassionate Father. Class meets in room 110. Take elevator to 1st floor, 1st hallway, room on corner. 

 

Life Journey for Women

No Registration Necessary • Wednesdays, 12-1 pm • Room 111

This one hour Bible study helps us get in the habit of reading the Bible daily with about 15-20 minutes of daily reading.  The weekly gathering provides the opportunity to share how the Scripture readings made an impact during the week as well as share what God is doing in our lives.  This Bible study can be joined at any time throughout the year.  Drop in anytime!

 

Wednesday Night Bible Study (WNBS)

1st & 3rd Wednesdays  • 7:00 pm  • Offsite

WNBS is an ongoing study that is a self-paced walk through the Bible. We are just beginning our study on the Book of John.  We will read 2 to 3 chapters a week and then discuss the scripture during our time together.  We discuss what we didn't understand and what was revealed to us in each week's reading.  Come join us for fellowship and study.  We meet at 7:00 pm on the first and third Wednesday of each month in the home of Patty and Jim Bronaugh. Can join at any time.


Fridays

Men’s Friday Morning Study

No Registration Necessary • Fridays, 6-7 am • Ministry Center

Men of all ages are welcome to join this men's study group any time during the year.  We explore what it means to be a "man" in our own lives, our families, our businesses, and our community.  In the changing face of the world we live in, the time is right for all of us to be engaged in study that will provide insights and guidance on how to live out the life principles revealed in Holy Scripture. Drop in Anytime!  We meet in the Ministry Center, which is located across the amphitheater from the Main Entrance.

Many classes have study guides and/or books that are part of the class. Unless otherwise noted, please purchase your materials prior to the first day of class.
