Red Letters Video Podcast

What if Jesus really meant what he said?

That's the question Shane Claiborne and Tony Campolo explore in their book Red Letter Revolution. During our Red Letters worship series in January, we're hosting a live video podcast in which we'll explore the weekly worship topics through the lens of Red Letter Revolution. We encourage you to read the book, but it is not necessary to read it to understand and get value from the podcast. Join us starting on Monday, January 14 on FacebookTMUMC.ORG/live, Apple TV, Roku, or subscribe to the Trietsch UMC Podcast on iTunes or Google Play to tune in.

Every Monday Daniel Humbert, Clay Horton, Denise Robinson, and Sydney Patrick will come together to talk about how they interpret the words of Jesus, possible generational differences in how we live out Jesus's teachings, and how the Red Letters of Jesus are alive in us today.

In Red Letter Revolution, chapters are set up as an intergenerational dialogue between Tony Campolo and Shane Claiborne. They tackle subjects like economics, immigration, environmentalism, being pro-life, civil disobedience, sexuality, politics, war and violence, and the Middle East. That is only naming a few. Needless to say, they do not shy away from the tough topics that tend to divide people. Although Tony and Shane don't agree on every topic, we get an inside view into their dialogue built on mutual love and respect.

We hope you can join us every Monday at 8 pm starting on January 14. You are encouraged to jump in and comment, express respectfully what you agree with or disagree with, and start a dialogue about Jesus's words and teachings. Did he really mean what he said?
