Emergency Response Team

Last weekend a group of 7 trained Emergency Response Team (ERT) members from Trietsch went to Victoria, TX to help with clean up. Please consider taking ERT training so you can help with disaster relief in the future.

Dallas County Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster 

The Dallas County Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) member Trusted World is taking donations. Visit https://trustedworld.org/hurricane-harvey-volunteers/ for the most up-to-date collection list, donation hours, and volunteer opportunities.  The Trusted World drop off location is 15660 N. Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX 75248.

Red Cross

To volunteer with the Red Cross at a shelter or in other capacities, go to www.redcross.org.  You will be required to fill out a volunteer enrollment form which can take up to 48 hours to be approved.

Hosts can respond to crises in their community by offering housing to displaced neighbors and relief workers deployed to help.
