We would like to invite you to CLASS 101, 201, 301 and 401. C.L.A.S.S. is Christian Life and Service Seminars. You are not required to become a member to attend; it is just for your information and spiritual growth. We want you to take your next step spiritually. That could mean getting baptized, committing to take time to explore the Bible on a daily basis, or maybe you want to see how you fit in. The Trietsch CLASS series is all about those next steps in your spiritual path.
How Does it Work?
Imagine a baseball diamond. At first base CLASS 101 gives you the foundation of our CLASS series. C.L.A.S.S. 101 answers the question, “Why is membership important?” and covers our beliefs, vision, values and structure that make Trietsch the church it is. Even if you are already a member or do not know if you want to become one, this class is a great way to get to know our church. The two-part C.L.A.S.S. 101 is offered various times throughout the year to fit any schedule. Below is the remaining 2008 CLASS 101 schedule:

CLASS 201 is the second CLASS in the series and addresses the question “How do I become more spiritually mature?” and looks at “How do I deepen my faith?” 201 explores four basic habits/disciplines that can help believers grow in their faith. The remaining CLASS 201 schedule is below:
CLASS 201 (Maturity)

At third base, CLASS 301, the third class in the series, focuses on “Spiritual Gifts” and is an excellent way to intentionally explore the gifts and tools that the Holy Spirit has placed in your tool bin. Individuals participate in activities and discussions designed to help identify their personal talents/abilities, articulate their dreams/passions, and discover their God-given spiritual gifts. From there, individuals are guided through a process for discerning the kinds of ministry opportunities for which they are well-suited – and from which they will find joy and great personal satisfaction. You will be able to serve God more effectively; and most importantly, you will discover that there is joy, not drudgery in ministering for Christ. C.L.A.S.S. 301 is fun, enlightening and interactive. 301 is also taught in two sessions. The remaining CLASS 301 schedule is below:
CLASS 301 (Ministry)
- Thursdays Feb. 7, 14, 21 & 28, 7-9 p.m.
- Thursdays April 3, 10, 17 & 24, 7-9 p.m.

- Friday September 19, 6-9 p.m. & Saturday September 20, 8:30-1 p.m.
- Thursdays November 6, 13 & 20, 7-9 p.m.
Lastly, as you head for home plate, CLASS 401 explores “How do I share my faith?” You will learn how to communicate how God has worked in your life with friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and around the world. By using your own gifts and story, you will be able to touch people only you can touch and share your faith and good news of Jesus. 401 will be offered later this year.
CLASS 401 (Mission)
- Sundays April 6 & 13, 5-7 p.m.
- Sundays June 1 & 8, 5-7 p.m.
- Sundays October 5 & 12, 5-7 p.m.
Each C.L.A.S.S. builds on each other, but you may attend in any order you like. They each provide the foundation necessary for us to have a common language and understanding for how we ‘do’ church here at Trietsch. Childcare is available with advance reservations by calling ext. 299.
